    Default Process exit value = 128

    Hi,

    I have a Java code to run a bat file on Windows Server 2003 as below:

    Runtime rt = Runtime.getRuntime();

    Process pro = rt.exec("killCorel.bat");

    Thread.sleep(4000);

    When this code runs, pro.exitValue() returns 128. I wonder why this happens? Can someone help please? Thanks.

    Default

    It means the script exited with an exit value of 128, which is ome sort of abnormal exit, why don't you try Googling for "batch file exit codes" for a possible explanation of what the exit code 128 means.
