    Default rich:tabPanel

    In a Seam application, I've got a tabPanel with "client" switchType, which works as expected when I click the tabs:

    <rich:tabPanel id='tPanel' switchType="client">

    Now, I'm trying to switch tabs via javascript with an h:commandLink onclick event. I found two ways to do it (see below). The tab switches, but then the page reloads. It doesn't reload if I manually click on the tabs. Can anyone think of a reason why the page reloads and, more importantly, how to prevent it from reloading?

    RichFaces.switchTab('tinymceForm:tPanel','tinymceF orm:tabEditProof','Edit Proof');

    document.getElementById('tinymceForm:tabEditProof_ shifted').onclick();

    Default Re: rich:tabPanel

    I remembered! I had to follow the h:commandLink onclick event with "return false" to prevent the page reload.
