    Default JSF basics, two problems

    Hi, I`m starting to learn Java EE and I have some problems. Here is my xhtml page

    XML Code:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1" ?>
    <%@ page language="java" contentType="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1"
        pageEncoding="ISO-8859-1"%>

    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
    <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"
    		xmlns:f="http://java.sun.com/jsf/core"
    		xmlns:h="http://java.sun.com/jsf/html"
    		xmlns:ui="http://java.sun.com/jsf/facelets"
    		xmlns:p="http://primefaces.org/ui"
    		>
    <h:head>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1" />
    <title>LOL</title>
    </h:head>
    <h:body>
    <f:view>

    	<p:dataTable var="boooks" value="#{books.showBooksTable}">
    		<p:column headerText="ISSN">
    			<h:outputText value="" />
    		</p:column>
    		<p:column headerText="Autor">
    			<h:outputText value="" />
    		</p:column>
    		<p:column headerText="Tytuł">
    			<h:outputText value="" />
    		</p:column>
    		<p:column headerText="Cena">
    			<h:outputText value="" />
    		</p:column>
    	</p:dataTable>

    </f:view>
    </h:body>
    </html>
    And I recive two errors
    HTTP Status 500 - /index.jsp (line: 19, column: 36) #{...} is not allowed in template text
    HTTP Status 500 - java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.apache.jsp.index_jsp

    Do you know how to resolved it?
    THX

    I think the source you're using to learn JEE is not really up to date, since you're using JSP's and not facelets.

    Try again using this article as your starting point:

    The BalusC Code: JSF 2.0 tutorial with Eclipse and Glassfish

    As an excercise on how to find your own answers to problems, try posting that #{...} is not allowed in template text bit of your error into google, and see what you get. You see - you're not the first person to run into this error. Make good use of that fact.
