JSP/Servlet – getting root directory
Sometimes you wish to get root directory from JSP/Servlet to perform certain operations. Its just a single line of code.

JSP:
Code:
String path = application.getRealPath("/");
Servlet:
Code:
String path = getServletContext.getRealPath("/");
