JPEd is an XPDL 1 process editor based on the source code of JaWE community edition with additional features and changes that could be of great interest to both users and developers. It presents users with swinlanes-based activity placement, and supports multiple process (workflows) per package, imports, subflows, a full range of XPDL capabilities, and a customizable user interface. It can be used as a stand-alone product, features a pluggable interface (with plugins provided for various common operations), and can be cutomized to fit your company's name (including logo), as long as you respect GPL licencing terms.
This release has has plugins for the shark engine, and can output workflows in a PDF report, generate real vectorial SVG output, a fully customizable interface that is ideal to use in a production environment (restrict or extend the actions of your users), and many other features. You can easily add plugins of your choice to the interface, create your own plugins, customize the editor to fit your company's needs, and distribute with JNLP or other Java means.
