Sleep is a Perl-inspired scripting language for the Java platform. Sleep has its own library of functions for performing common tasks as well as being able to utilize the Java class library. Sleep includes closures, coroutines, built-in debugging, and it is very extensible.

Changes

This release adds a literal form for Java Class literals. Functions have been updated to utilize this new feature. Several bugs with the try/catch mechanism have been fixed. Assertions now accept an optional message parameter. Unnecessary Class.forName calls made when compiling scripts have been eliminated. This will prevent undesired Web traffic when using Sleep in applets.
