XPontus XML Editor 1.0.0RC3
XPontus is a Java-based XML editor designed for text editing. It aims to provide a free alternative to commercial XML editors. It has been reported to run correctly on Linux, Windows, Mac OS X, Solaris, and FreeBSD. There are many installers for platform convenience.
Changes
A menu has been added for a "Recent files list". Dom4j is now used to indent XML files, which will correct the bugs which occurred while trying to pretty print an XML document. XPontus now runs in a single instance. Drag-and-drop has been corrected and seems to work well now on Windows and Unix/Linux. The editor can be used with "Open With XPontus XML Editor" under Windows and Unix/Linux.
