Aspose.Pdf is a Java component to create PDF documents without using Adobe Acrobat. It supports floating boxes, PDF form fields, PDF attachments, security, footnotes and end notes, multiple-column documents, tables of contents, lists of tables, nested tables, rich text formatting, images, hyperlinks, JavaScript, annotations, bookmarks, headers, footers, and much more. The PDF content can be specified with API calls, XML files, or XSL-FO files. It also enables you to convert HTML, XSL-FO, and Excel files into PDF.

Changes:
In previous releases, the component did not work well on Linux; this release provides compatibility with Linux. Testing has been done to ensure compatibility with the major Linux flavors, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.7 and Debian6 Linux. This release also includes some fixes regarding PDF to raster image conversion. The intent of providing two jar files is to keep the migration impact as minimal as possible. This release also provides JavaDocs for the new DOM model of MergedAPI. A problem with viewing the PDF file when an image stamp is added has been fixed
