OpenXava is a framework to develop JavaEE/J2EE applications rapidly and easily. It allows you to define applications only with POJOs, JPA, and Java 5 annotations. It is feature rich and flexible. It generates JSR-168 portlet applications (Liferay, WebSphere Portal, Jetspeed, etc.).

Changes

Full support for Hibernate Validator was added. Messages thrown by Hibernate Validator are shown to the user as validation messages. @Required, @PropertyValidator, and @EntityValidator were redefined as Hibernate Validator constraints. The textAreaEditor now uses JavaScript to control maximum size (even with Ctrl-V). The 'new' CRUD action now sets the view to the initial section. The Ant creation wizard for template projects now asks for the project name, and it's not necessary to edit the Ant build files.
