The Avis client library is a Java API for clients accessing Elvin event routers, including the open source Avis event router and the commercial Mantara Elvin product. It fulfills the same role as Mantara's "je4" library, but is a more modern Java 5 API.

Changes

This release contains many improvements and general solidification of the API, including a few changes incompatible with the previous release. Programming examples have been added to make getting started easier.
