More important thing we have to think about the technologies, what are the advantages and dis-advantages.

wait I thought it was the other way. Didn't Sun buy Oracle? I'm assuming the JDBC will be given alot more resources and some revamping to make it more powerful, perhaps even some new java-esque SQL for working with the database. No more crazy complex SQL statements when a simple for loop and counter could accomplish the same thing.
Personally I HATE sql. After using Java for years and having to "dumb down" my coding(or "wise up" my logic whichever you prefer) in order to do anything aside from a simple CRUD command. I know all languages have their niche but some languages are more of a pain than others(cough LOLCATS. Seriously import java.io.* is equal to I CAN HAZ JAVA.IO ALL)Liberty has never come from the government.
Liberty has always come from the subjects of government.
The history of liberty is the history of resistance.
The history of liberty is a history of the limitation of governmental power, not the increase of it.

I don't think so that you can have such an exam. Oracle is not a fully Java related technology and no point of giving a certification on such thing.
