What's the point you are talking about? There are lots of tutorials in that sub-forum. Actually moderators can directly post and comments on there tutorials. Other members also can post tutorials there, but it must approved by moderators. Until that no one can comment on that.

Hmm, I was just thinking I could make a tutorial. I begin to work with jTextPane to make a small Text Editor and I find out that many people (including myself) are searching info about how to use this component but aren't able to find a tutorial. So, I thought I could make one as I learn about it while doing my project.

Yes go ahead, make the tutorial and post it. But you have to wait until moderators approved it.

This is a Java Forum, not a technical stuff discussion forum. Please ask your question on a technical discussion community.

Did you search on the web. You can found thousands of them on the web. And on the Suns' official web site too.

    Suns' Tutorial

That's the best tutorial ever I know from Java.

By the way, please read our FAQ page before posting again. It's really helpful to you.

Hey, look like we got some pretty weird answer here. :)

    Anyway, I got another question.

While searching around the web I found some very good articles about jTextPane and things related to it. They are essentials if you want to work with jTextPane but it could be kinda long and pointless to just rewrite everything from scratch.

So, I was wondering if I could put the link of these pages in my tutorial.

    Thx in advance

On what you get wired lol?

You cannot post links to the forum, until you make over 20 posts here. So at the time you can just paste the text, and people can copy and paste on the browser to see those pages you are talking about. :)

    Hello again

I got an example showing an implementation of cut, copy and paste with JTextPane.

It conserve the Style of the Document between JTextPane who has my TransferHandler and it transfer a String for application outside of the JVM or who don't have my TransferHandler.

Could I put it in the java tip section?

Yes you can do it. But once you post it here into the forum. Moderators have to look at it and approved. Once it's approved only, you and others can comments on that.

Yes you can. Since Java Tip forum use by administrator the best place to add your one is the Java Tutorials.

What's your question, better to explain it more clearly. Please don't post annoying posts here in the forum. You can get band.
