Default java environment setup with eclipse

I have been working this for days and can't seem to get the correct environment setup. I have cleaned and started fresh. Here is what I have. I will be developing web applications. There are existing projects which i am importing and trying to get running in my environment
    - downloaded and installed Java EE 6 SDK updates 3 with JDK 6 update 27. This created a glassfish directory with the jdk and jre within. so I have the paths
    C:\glassfish3\jdk\lib
    C:\glassfish3\jdk\jre\lib
    - downloaded eclipse IDE for Java EE Developer - indigo - this has been unzipped and saved to my C drive.

After importing the projects and looking at the properties the J2EE runtime library did not automatically display. So I went into the preferences and chose server/runtime environments. I chose basic and added it. I mapped it to the C:\glassfish3\jdk\lib folder - this is where the build properties are pointing.

the problem is that i dont have a jar file called j2ee.jar anywhere!
Am I supposed to? Shouldn't that have been part of the Java EE 6 SDK that was installed???

Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

    Hei!
    1) From the eclipse menu select Window -> Open Perspective -> Java EE if you don't have done this.
    2) Right- click the Servers tab and select New -> Server from the menu
    3) If you cannot find the server you want, select to "Download additional server adapters".
    4) After downloading adapters, the Eclipse must restart.
    5) After restart right- click the Servers tab again and select New -> Server from the menu
    6) select your server and follow the setup to implement the server.
    7) You should be ready to use your server.

You must select Oracle GlassFish Server Tools to download. I assume you have installed Glassfish 3.1 so the server you must choose. The correct jar files will be used when selecting the EE platform for your "Dynamic Web Project" or "Enterprise Application project". For example if you want a J2EE Enterprise Application variant then select the EAR version 1.4 when creating your "Enterprise Application project". Do not think to much about the old j2ee.jar file.

That did it. I installed the Glassfish server tools and added the library pointing to the java jars. And it worked!!!!
