silent Authentication, without prompting username and password

Dear All,

Do any one have any idea about silent authentication done by NTLM or SPNEGO protocols from which an application server can access the windows username and domain name without prompting.
I currently have visited spnego and jcifs and sucessfully implemented them..

Does any one know about opensource library similar to spnego and jcifs, for doing silent authentication ?

It's called single sign on.
I don't know how far along it is, but there's a Java one called JOSSO.
