Don't use anchor tags in servlets. Anchor tags should only appear in your JSPs.
Servlets should just forward or redirect to other JSPs/servlets.

    k..
    suppose
    if
    1) i go to a jsp page with anchor tag link and
    2) i go to the jsp page through/via some servlet using requestdispatcher...

so is there any difference in both ways except i can use business logic to dynamically dispatch in servlets...
