    Default can I user servlet without tomcat ?

    Hi

    I'm new to servlet
    My question is : can I use a Servlet without installing Web Servers such as Tomcat ?
    If yes, please say to how, or if you know a refrence on Internet
    about that please say to

    Yes, always you can. What you need is a valid servlet container, and there are lot like websphere, weblogic and lot more.

    A servlet always runs meanigfully in a WebContainer. So you can use any server which has got webcontainer.
