    Default About servlet-mapping

    I'm starting with J2EE
    In the web.xml,the following code:

    Java Code:
    <servlet-mapping>
    <servlet-name>Example</servlet-name>
    <url-pattern>*.jsp</url-pattern>
    </servlet-mapping>
    What does *.jsp represent?
    I don't understand

    Default

    It means that all requests to urls that end in ".jsp" will be handled by the servlet with name "Faces Servlet".
