Well, the title explains it all! I'm working on a 2D Java Game Using LWJGL and Slick! I have not gotten far, but if you want to do it, it's not a job, it's for fun. Reply if you want to!

Hi! Currently I'm interested in game development on Java and I'd like to know more about your project. Also, I'd like to know, what minimum skills are required (particularly in Slick).
I've been learning Java for 7 months and game development on Java - for about 1 month. Although I'm learning 3D game development (jMonkeyEngine, which uses LWJGL as far as I know), I think 2D is even easier. Currently, I can create a scene, populate it with different objects, control them via keyboard and mouse, apply physics to them and some other staff like that. I cannot create models and textures for them (I know how to, but I can't do it well). And now I'm looking for some not very complex project to develop or to participate in.
I would like to take part in this project, even though there is no pay, I enjoy the fun out of it. I would not consider myself a professional with Slick 2D, but I have started gaming one month ago lol. I know it is not that long, but if you do allow me to participate that would be a great adventure for me so maybe I can learn and increase my skill. I already have slick 2d installed in my eclipse IDE, and actually working on my own game, but for practice purposes such as adding collision, working with different states and what not.
