    Default Client/Server

    I've been wanting to work on a small mmo for a while now, and I've been searching for an API to use to handle the networking stuff. I tried writing a simple NIO application for this stuff, but I think it would be better to not reinvent the wheel and use something more standardized. So, what are my best options? Any additional info is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
