    Default SCJA Cert...

    Hello,

    I'm looking at the SCJA cert as both a way to pump up my resume and as an entry point to Java in general. Has anyone else here passed this exam? What books or study materials did you use? There isn't much on Amazon.

    Any advice from those who have been there?

    Since you have some experience inprogramming already, why not just go for the SCJP exam instead?
    The book by Sierra and Bates is good enough for certification.

    Ah... there's a thought... just leap to the SCJP... I'll check it out... thanks for the suggestion to my ignorant 1k brain... :D
