Default One Program Per Week - Little Bird, Fly Away

If you just want to skip to the actual blog, here you be: One Program Per Week: Little Bird, Fly Away

    Hello everybody,

Is this forum supposed to be for "advertising" (announcing?) new blog posts related to Java? It seems to be mostly random questions that belong in other forums instead! Oh well, controlling forum users is like herding cats, I suppose

Anyway, as some of you may know, I have a "blog" where I post simple Java programs, with the source, so other people can play around with them if they feel like it. At the very least, each program might provide a few minutes of entertainment to people who might not know what Java is capable of. And at the best, I'm hoping that novice programmers can use my code as a jumping off point for their own projects. My goal was to post a program per week (hence the name, I know, I'm very creative), but it's been a weird couple of months and I had to abandon it for a little.

But, without further ado, I'm back on the horse.

Nice, but it became night, and never day again. (The flying bird.)
I like the movable JFrame. I had just abandoned them (they worked in Windows but not in Ubuntu and I didn't know why), but this way I can leave it to the user.

Thanks. Basically, the sky becomes gradually darker if you aren't controlling the bird. It should lighten back up (or turn different colors) if you start playing with the arrow keys.

Do you mean the draggable applet? I thought that was really cool when I discovered it, plus it's actually really simple to do.

Indeed, The sky brightens when navigating.
I see I was confused about the dragging. I now deployed the bird in Eclipse, and saw eventually that it's a remote JavaScript. But, nice anyway.
