    Default class file error

I compiled jar file with this "jar -cvf blah.jar blah.class"

but when i run my applet it's not reading a class file.

asking me to run applet with url "localhost/path/"

It should ask like this "localhost/path/blah.jar but it's not working

    why?

What is the exact error message you're receiving? Do you have an SSCCE that demonstrates what you're trying to do?
