Connecting to a Website with the default browser
I'm not sure exactly which forum this question belongs in but from what information I have found so far, it looks like I might need to make use of applets.

My question is this: I have an application that when the user gets to a certain point in using it, there is a button that when clicked opens up the default browser with a certain website address already there, so basically clicking the button takes the person to the website. How do I do this?

Any examples or links to information about doing this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

This is good and I want to use it but when I try to compile with an application that imports this, it says it does not exist. I have the latest version of Java installed on my comp and I use JGrasp and have the latest version of that. Any ideas on why I can't seem to use the desktop class?

Yes, I meant java 6 and I have it working now thanks. I had what you typed but I must have spelled something wrong because when I retried it, it worked. Thanks for the help.
