Java aplet keeps crashing

Hi

I do apologise if this is posted in the wrong section.

I'm using windows 7 32bit, the latest firefox, this is a clean install of windows 7 yet again and no av installed at present.

The thing is I seem to be having some trouble with the java aplet when trying to access a certain chat based room via firefox.

Now everything seems fine when I click on it to enter but about 3/4 seconds later the chat closes and goes all black?

I have tried everything to get it to work in firefox but nothing it works fine in IE but soon as I try it within firefox it closes. I've tried in safemode with networking and so on but nothing it just closes.

I have no idea why it's doing this it's worked once before on an older version of java but since this upgrade it's not worked since, other people in the chat are on the same version as java as me but their's is workng fine.

Anyone got any idea of this issue I am having?

There is one other option I could try which I haven't done so yet is to change ethernet slots my motherboard has 2 but I doubt changing that could solve this issue.

Well I change the ethernet from the Marvell Yukon 88E8001/8003/8010 PCI Gigabit Ethernet Controller to the Marvell Yukon 88E8056 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller and I am still having this issue with java crashing. I didn't think it would be this but there was no harm in trying.

I take it after 100+ views no one else knows what could be going on either.
