    Default Inverse Cos

    Hey

    I am trying to do the inverse trig functions, i tried doing Math.acos(0.707) instead of giving me a value of 45 degrees, it gave me a value 0.786, i know this is in radians but how would i convert it so it gives me a value in degrees?

    Edit
    Very sorry for this thread, i was frustrated and wasn't thinking, i have got it now.
    Is there anyway to delete my thread

    Sorry

    Sounds like a math exercise. Have you looked up the definition of a radian?
    What is it? Please post it here and someone will be able to give you the java statement to convert it to degrees. I bet it has something to do with Pi.

    yea sure

    if you want to do inverse cos and get the result as an angle it's
    Math.acos(0.5)*180/Math.PI;

    if you want to enter an angle and get a sin value it's
    Math.cos(60*Math.PI/180)
