    Default how to call a JAR FILE from HTML

    I can't find a way to call my applet in JAR file from HTML.
    Java Code: 
    <applet code=Contact.class
archive="Contact.jar"
width=640 height=480>
</applet>
    but that does not work
    any ideas?
