    Default [something] load event

    hi,

    I have been trying to find an event which is dispatched when a component is loaded. I tried all the events, but none..

    I am trying to run a function which only occurs when the program starts. actually componentResized dispatches an event at the beginning when we create the components but what if i change its size later..

    so can anyone tell me which is the form load event, or do I have to create that event myself?

    Thank you :o

    Thumbs up

    Ok, I found another way.. we don't have to have a load event, (actually it's already there)

    Java Code:

    public ClassName(java.awt.Frame parent, boolean modal) {
            super(parent, modal);
            initComponents();
            //here is the place which runs when your form loaded.. so just place here what you want to do only you form load event
            DoThis();
            DoThat();
        }
    :rolleyes:
