    What are the minimum client requirement for running an applet

    They need the JRE of the appropriate version and a web browser.

    That means with out jre we cannot run applet on client side

    Pls let me know if there is any ?

    I want to create a swing application that needs to be run any where in browser with out any client installation --- how can I develop

    Not possible. They will always need at least the JRE.
    Also a swing application is not an applet. A swing application would need to be run via Webstart. That too requires the JRE.
