That is called "decompiling". To do this you will need a decompiler, and these can be found on Google.
So it can be done, but it's not always straightforward, and the code produced can be downright ugly. If the code has been obfuscated, it can be almost impossible.
I've not done this myself, but I've heard that the better decompilers are the ones you have to pay for while the free ones aren't as good -- but again, this is just a generalization based on heresay.
