Plot-applet

I run Debian Sid and get error message from Iceweasel Web Browser:

'Java not enabled for plot-applets'

There should have been a simple straight line curve with (x,y)-axis

How do I resolve this ... I'm just a user getting away from Windows (works there)

Just out of curiosity, have you installed the latest version of Java on the computer running the applet?
