Question Signed Java Applet to read a file on hard drive?

    Hi,

I am looking to make a Signed Java applet doing:

    1. Looking into one the folders below for a folder ending by ".default" like in "h93ya70s.default"

    Folders list to look for:
    + C:\Documents and Settings\<Windows login/pseudonyme>\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles\<Nom du profil>\
    + %AppData%\Thunderbird\Profiles\<Nom du profil>\
    + C:\Utilisateurs\<Windows login/pseudonyme>\Appdata\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\< Nom du profil>\
    + C:\Users\<Windows login/pseudonyme>\Appdata\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\< Nom du profil>\

    2. Then when this folder is found, open for reading a file called "abook.mab", if it exists of course.

for example, the applet could read the file: C:\Users\Stephane\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Prof iles\h93ya70s.default\abook.mab
    Thank you for your help

    Stephane
