Sometimes my applet runs very very fast. I noticed it happens to be when large programs/downloads/any extra windows are running in the background. Of course it's not that big of a problem for me, all I have to do is turn off those windows/background programs, but if I want to give this to my friends or even post it on the internet I don't want people to think this applet is supposed to run at very high speeds. This isn't a problem with my programming, because sometimes it works, heck without refreshing the applet and opening a new window and then going back to the applet it starts to run fast.

Any ideas?
