Storing image loaded in applet in mysql database

hi friend,
I am doing a project in facial recognition system. I am supposed to store facial images captured using webcam from applet in mysqldatabase. I wonder whats the way to store image in database. Can u provide me the path to clear the hurdle i am facing. If u are not clear of my requirement means please specify i ll make still more brief.

You should create Server class that listens some defautl port and createated connections with client (applet). Let call this ClientConnection. Then create a ServerConnection to ClientConnection right from applet. Something like:
Socket s=new Socket(Config.Server.site, Config.Server.port);
in= s.getInputStream();
out=s.getOutputStream();

Then recieve pixels of an image from ServerConnection to ClientConnection. And save pixels as byte array throw JDBC in any DB you like.
