Default setting focus to an applet on a different page

    HI.

    I've come across something tricky.
I want to make a macro program.

I have an application, that when I click a "begin" button I want it to minimize itself and set its focus on an applet in a browser. Then, it will begin it's macro sequence, clicking ont the applet, looking for colors, etc.

how do I set focus to an applet in a browser?

By moving the cursor to it and clicking on it? This can be done from an application with the Robot class.

    Default mmhmmm

That was the "easy" answer I discovered myself. but what if you want to find things out about the applet? lets say, it is public, and we want to know the size of it. Well, that would require me to set focus to it, yes? Or is there a way of searching for the applet on my computer?

An applet is a java program that is displayed by a browser when it loads an HTML page with the <APPLET tag. The Applet tag includes attributes such as WIDTH and HEIGHT that tell the browser how large an area to allocate for the applet.
to find things out about the applet
Look at the HTML or at the applet's source code.
is there a way of searching for the applet on my computer?
An applet is a java program that has a source file and a class file when compiled. If you know the name of the applet or the name of the jar file it is in, yes you can search for those files on your computer. Why do you want to do that/
