    Default how to upload/download files using javascript and html

    If i have to upload a file to some server(ip), from command prompt, i can do that using FTP.
    If i wish to achieve the same using GUI, javascript and html, how do i do that.

    Can some one give me clue for this?

    JavaScript is not a Java related technology. So you should ask your question in JS forum. This is a Java forum. Those two technologies are totally different.
