    Red face how applet is sent to user's machine

    hi
    when the user requests for a page containing some applet ,how the applet is transferred to the user's machine.is it availbale in that machine.

    That's all handled by the browser. The user enters a URL in the browser. The browser issues an HTTP GET to a server for the HTML page at that URL. It reads the HTML and as if finds further bits that it needs, like a jar file (with the applet) or an image, it issues an HTTP GET to the server for the jar file or image. It doesn't look at the local PC's disk.
