    Is there we can add panel on a applet or on a applet we can add panel.

    Yes. If you read the API doc for the Applet class you will see it extends Container

    Yes i read that applet and panel both are container but i am only confused
    That which is much use able to create an internet application .
    Could you tell me that by an applet i can create a web page in java .

    No. An applet is part of a web page. You are looking for Servlets and JSP's (seemingly).
