ZK is an Ajax Java Web framework that enables rich UIs for Web applications with little programming. With event-driven components and an XUL-based markup language, developing is as simple as programming desktops and authoring HTML. Scripting languages include but are not limited to Java, JavaScript, Ruby, and Groovy.

Supports load on demand without writing Java code. An option to disable the use of the event processing thread. A new and simpler way to add annotations. Support for highlighted windows, an embedded file upload component, and more. In total, 27 new features were added and 36 bugs fixed.
