JavaBean is on a distinguished road
Appia 4.0.0
Appia is a framework for network protocol composition that includes a complete set of protocols that provide group communication and atomic broadcast. It is extensible and can create channels that fit the user's needs.

Changes

Package names were replaced. JMX interfaces were added to retrieve information about membership and throughput. JMX interfaces are now created dynamically. Several bugs were fixed in the failure detector protocol. A sender thread was introduced in the TCP protocol to avoid blocking the Appia main thread. Several issues on the Primary View protocol were fixed. The implementation of jGCS version 0.6.1 was added. Appia is now fully jGCS compliant. The mx4j libraries were dropped.
