Flexess is a component-based product that adds access management capabilities to Java applications. It allows you to separate security aspects from the main application logic. It provides the entire infrastructure including a tool for creating an application security model and a Web portal that manages the assignment of the different access privileges to the users. All security aspects are modeled in terms of Users, Roles, and Permissions.
Changes
A license now must be requested to use the modeler. This version will not deploy models to the previous builds of Flexess server (0.9.1 and lower). A stack overflow in the permission editor was fixed. The model is now signed with a designer license. A progress bar is shown on the test connection. Validation is done for the attribute type. A verification rule was added to deny spaces in the permission names.
