    Default Distorted Screen

    Hi,

Our staff load a java application in internet explorer. Most staff have four screens which run off a quad graphics card.

Occassionaly the screen becomes very distorted, it is still readable but its as if java has forgotten where items on screen should be located. Screen shot below, the black is redacted.

Any ideas why this distortion occurs?

    Many thanks

    Damien

Is this a program you have written/developed? If so post relevant code, preferably in the form of an SSCCE <- google it.

If this is just some program you use, you're asking in the wrong place. Contact the developers of the program.

Its an application created by a java developer employed by the firm, I have discussed ths with him and he thinks the problem is hardware related, however I cannot see how that is possible as it is only his java application that becomes distorted. I do not have access to the source code and I doubt it will be given to me.

Well then, that Java developer should be the one asking the question.

You can try reducing the graphics acceleration and see if that solves the problem.
