Ok, I Am a absolute newbie to the java world, recently I have attempted to load a 2D Image into my NetBeans Code, Sadly, none of my attempts have worked. I was hopping that someone would help me by taking me step by step through the concept of loading a image. Also, I Have looked at the Java tutorials on this, I Didn't understand it very well. It is for a 2D Sidescroller game me and my Friend are designing.
I don't think that this forum is a very good substitute for the tutorials as it is unlikely we'll be able to explain it better and what you are asking for is a huge time commitment for a volunteer. Better to for you to keep trying with the tutorials and asking any specific questions regarding points in the tutorials that you don't understand.
Ok, Thanks, found a good tutorial and figured out how to use my Images.
