Ocr api

Is there any API which can use for Character Recognition... Asprise OCR doesnt help here because it out puts a message dialog box seach time the method executed... Please help me with dis????

I have also tried that, working on same kind of project, if i would have source code of that then i could have done something. I have tried GOCR , Tesserect, nothing worked as expected.

So now i have started studying Artificial Neural Networks with JOONE, to create complete application.
You can have a look at Heaton Research | Books for Neural Networks, Encog, and Artificial Intelligence

But he didnt use JOONE for recognize characters.. Btw did u able to implement a code such that at least to recognize digits... If then please give me some advise to success of my project... May be u can use this code for your project.... If its useful with you give some comments...

i tried that applet .. not of use for my needs..

what you trying to implement... coz aprise is an OCR implementation where as HeatOnResearch is an ICR implementation ... i personally recomend you to use heat on research ... but would you like to please elaborate you application ...

My projrct is an ICR to recognise complete words n sentence from image. but the starter of this thread need OCR. i think ..

If you can implement ICR then OCR is implemented already .... any ways , i told you to look inot heat on research applet , its best solution for an icr implementation to my knew ... and its very easy and organise code ... first try it if you face any problem then you can ask here ....
