I'm Dan, I know some Visual Basic already, but I want to do a more advanced language and Java seems to fit the bill. I look forward to learning it and pestering you all for help :P

I hope with the pestering you plan to do that you might consider offsetting that with you learned knowledge by further assisting those that were once in your place.
