Hello World!
Hi, as you can see, i'm joshua. I'm new to the forums and also to java. I joined this forums not mainly to seek help sometimes on problems i can't figure out, but to read threads about java to advance my knowlegde about it and to know other people who also uses it.

edit: Is this forums dead/cold or something?

You will be helped in time and if your thread gets cold, just bring it up again. I know that in other forums they posts like 5 posts a minute, but I guess that Java is not that a popular hobby.

Welcome to our community.

I hope you find what you're looking for here, and if you don't - just ask.

I'm curious why you say this? Your post is timed at about 1.5 hours before my post. That's not all that bad for an introductions post.

Let's not forget where you are in the world - when others may be sleeping due to their time zones you may be awake, something to keep in mind.

By bringing it up again we mean to post back to your original thread with a bump, moving it to the top of the posted lists. Unless the forum is real busy, no bump is usually necessary - otherwise follow the rule of 1 bump approximately every 4 hours or greater. Posting another thread with the same topic and content is against forum policy, known as double posting, thus bumping is more appropriate.

Java can be a very popular hobby - for programmers. Let's also not forget that our particular site is more specialized in that we primarily focus on the Java language alone(hence the name), rather than all the languages like some forums do.

I'm sorry. I thought that this was one of those forums that needs at least 3 days before a reply is posted.

But the good thing is, i got many replies in one day(many is more than one. right? hehe...)

I will be active here but i doubt i won't be posting much because i think all of the questions in my mind right now is already answered on previous threads.
