I've been active now and then on the forum already, but havent properly introduced myself so here goes.
My name is Bas Moorkens (aka steelshark), i live in Belgium and i'm attending college where i study IT.I am currently 20 years old,
and have been programming for 6 years now.It started of with QBASIC(yeh i know, really old shit language:p ) and some basic html.Soon after i discovered the joys of linux, and started to get deeper into C and PERL.Been messing around in those languages for quite some time, until 2 years ago i started going to college and i learned java. It's quite an enjoyable language, my first experience with OO programming and i hope to learn a whole lot of the people on this forum here.
Please let me "officially" welcome you here and to thank you for your contributions already made. And let me make the observation that many would disagree about QBasic being a "sh!t" language (old yes, sh!t, no). It, like any language, is a useful tool that in the right hands could be made to sing.
I look forward to seeing around!
Yeh you are probably right, i didnt said it correctly.

But you got a point :D
apologies for telling it's a shit language:p
