Default Greetings. :) Here is my introduction:

    Greetings. :)

My name is Stefan Brannfjell, and I want to participate in this forum as my experience in java grows. :)

For a week ago, I bought the book "Java for Dummies 2nd Edition". So I have started to read some about java! :D

Though, in that book, at this moment I am at page 121 of 408, and I haven't learned much about it. D:

So I am far from any good in Java, I am still not even considered a newbie yet. :p

Looking forward to participate, get help, perhaps even help people as well in this forum! :D

Wohoo! I just learned to write System.out.print without getting compiler error! =D

Great. Now you qualify to get your own pink skirt to wear during the defenestration activities. Make sure to pick the front seat unless if it's you being defenestrated of course.

You can try this book out for Java called: "My First Book of Java," by Gary J. Bronson. I've learned more using that book than I did reading Java for Dummies.

Thanks for the replies. :) I will make sure to try to get a copy of "My First Book of Java," by Gary J. Bronson after completing Java for Dummies

I have never heard about that book and the amazon reviews are really bad. I can highly recommend Bates & Sierra's "Head first Java".

Perhaps Znote is Gary J. Bronson, and now you've hurt his feelings. :p

Well, I found it on my library and it explains Java much better than Java for Dummies, but that's my opinion.
