Here comes trouble... :-)

Hello Everyone,

I am brand-new to this forum, and my only experience with Java has been with my college classes (online university). I am in my 5th class, and I think I'm finally starting to understand what I did in my first class!:D

I am a geek by profession (telecommunications engineer), and I am one of those people who have grand ideas, but sometimes has a problem getting them done. That is where I am with Java. I have never programmed anything other than HTML (if you call that programming) prior to going back to school. Now, I see the power of Java, and I have a lot of ideas for what to do with it... if only I knew what I was doing!!

I will likely be burning up the forums later. Since I work full-time and go to school full-time, I will likely not be able to do much until I am done with school. Once that happens, though... look out!! :-)

Welcome to the forum! Your situation sounds very familiar... almost like my own, accept I used to program in C/C++ and basic years ago before becoming a systems engineer.
