Greetings, Java Forums goers. My name is Gregorius (← ...as you can see over there) but you can call me Greg. Everyone does.
Basically, I stumbled upon this forum in the midst of trying to find a solution to one of the problems befalling a little personal project of mine, and so I figured "I might as well try it at least once"... if there's anything you care to know about me, just ask and I'll answer as soon as possible.

I hope not to sound too stupid when asking my questions, and I'll help people with their problems whenever I possibly can. Happy coding!

Actually, I just figured out how to activate the "Scanner" protocol to get user input in the form of System.in. So I thought I'd try to make a simple chat-bot; asks name, age, a few personal questions...

...but chat-bot idea got not-so-simple. I started to experiment with things like displayed random strings after specific input and multiple-choice questioning, but right now, all is not going as planned.
It would probably go a lot better if I were more experienced with calling items out of array lists, so basically I came here to cover those bases.

And yeah, any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm using Eclipse (for school mostly).
