Ok, here's my intro

I have been writing Java code, using NetBeans, for several years, but only for desktop apps. I am new to web apps.

I am trying to use NetBeans now to build a web app. I built a web app a few years ago with ASP and I don't remember having this much trouble. :eek: So I am surfing the web for help. When I ran across these forums I decided to join.

To start with developing a web app in Java , netbeans is a good choice. Or you may want to use Eclipse also which very popular for any development.

Thank you Jack. I thought about Eclipse, but I didn't want to have to learn another IDE. But it might be worth it if it works better, I'll check into it.
